Composition analysis
What the finished tattoo shows.
A sleeve is viewed from changing angles, so the owl needs to remain recognizable without requiring the entire arm to be seen at once. The supporting floral elements help move the composition around the limb and provide opportunities for color transitions.
The design uses dark structure and quieter spaces to prevent the bright palette from flattening into one continuous field. That balance lets the owl’s face and eyes maintain priority.
